### Because ###

— We are currently investigating the issue causing the following services to be offline: JGN Carrier Network, DE-NRW-BSU-1-A Backbone Network, JGN Status Page and Link AGG Coordinator. We cannot rule out the possibility of an attack at this time.

### Update ###

— Due to an overvoltage, parts of our critical infrastructure were damaged. All affected components have now been replaced and repaired, and all services are accessible again. We are working on improvements to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future.
