STATEMENT 2025 !!!
Every penny we earn with our ISP service we reinvest in to our network, so we are a running a nonprofit structure. We provide our service in areas where other ISPs never want to invest because we don’t want to make money, we want to make the internet a great thing for everyone. Sometimes we are the only hope for clients that life in rural areas because no other ISP wants to invest there.
Wireless Wide Area Network (WWAN)
WWAN can be used over short or long distances in order to easily enable a fast internet connection compared to others (up to 400 Mbit / s and as a distribution point up to 2 Gbit / s). In order to be able to use WWAN, you need a line of sight to a JGNetworking distribution point that may be a maximum of 15 km away. In rare cases you don't need a direct line of sight. In addition to the JGNetworking antenna, you need a router from us or one of other providers who are PPPoE capable on VLAN 7 (not required if you have a cloud network from us). If you live within a radius of 15 km with a line of sight, you still need access to the roof or another relatively high place in order to have as little interference as possible. If you have a location that meets our requirements, you can upgrade your location to a destruction point, but we need a lot of space for the armament, such as a room to install network equipment.
WWAN as Backup
Our WWAN technology can be used to provide a backup link so you stay connected even if your main internet connection goes down. The backup links connected to our JGNISP network and uses the same infrastructure.
Fiber Direct Link (FDL)
FDL or Fiber Direct Link is a direct connection via fiber optic to a JGNetworking distribution point. Depending on the location, different speeds are possible the connection itself allows up to 100 Gbit / s bandwidth. FDL can only be used in the immediate vicinity of a JGDP (JGNetworking Distribution Point) as it is extremely time-consuming to set up a fiber optic connection to the individual users. there is also rough work to be done, for example shafts at the house have to be dug.
WWAN and FDL Carrier Aggregation and Autoscaling WWAN
With FDL and WWAN carrier aggregation, existing internet connections can be used together with a connection provided by JGNetworking. However, additional hardware is required for use. The additionally required load balancer from JGNetworking runs via a coordinator server so that only one IP address is used publicly. in a normal case you would have 2 IP addresses, since you have 2 connections where some websites have problems. With autoscaling WAN can also use unused bandwidth from other JGNetwork users to achieve a bandwidth boost to increase the speed. In this case, a neighbor who uses JGN must be within range of the short-range antenna and have bandwidth available that he does not use. Autoscaling WAN is only available for WWAN
JGNetworking Distribution points (JGNDP) and Distribution outposts (JGNDO)
A JGNetwork Distribution Point or JGNDP is a facility or a customer that can provide either or both a WWAN Station or FDL Uplink to other customers. The minimum requirements are fluctuation with the GEO location of the JGNDP but in any case the DP must be connected to the JGNetwrok there is no standalone solution. A JGNDO or JGNetworking Distribution Outpost is a very remote location that needs a secure internet tunnel to give access to other customers. This is the case in very remote locations where no JGNetwork is in range of the customer.
JGNetworking Cloud network (JGNCN)
The JGNetworking Cloud Network or JGNCN is a complete network hosted in our facilities, so you only need a switch, and you are ready. No router modem or other hardware needed (You need to use JGN-WWAN or FDL). If you use our Access points or/and switches, we manage them for you and tweak the settings for your network based on your feedback. No Firmware upgrades or complicated configurations to worry about.
